One week and counting...

It has been over a week and Talmadge is doing great. The last couple of nights he has actually gone over 4 hours without eating/crying/needing changed and that has been a great treat. The kids are still just as excited about him and we have several "hold him" moments with Charlotte, even though she has her new baby doll that she has named "Honey Horrocks". Here are some new pics of the little guy to enjoy.

Here's Talmadge...

So the event we have been waiting for finally came!! On December 19, 2008 at 4:26 pm, Talmadge Kenneth Horrocks was born in Carmel, Indiana. He weighed 8 lbs 9 ounzes and was 21 inches long. Unlike every other child of our's his head was not massive and it had lots of hair! Bec did a great job in during labor and Talmadge came with just a little bit of a stuck sholder, but without any big deal.

All the brothers and sisters were able to be there shortly after and that was a lot of fun.

Shawn is very excited about the name (it was his favorite of the list). Tanner in classic Tanner form was asking questions like "was he born with a blanket?" and was his own soundtrack to commercials (he kept running around saying "Family - the most important thing in life..brought to you by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints"...apparently he has seen a couple of commercials).

Charlie was very concerned about his apparent lack of legs (since he was wrapped up in a blanket), but was reassured that he had feet and legs. And lastly Charlotte fell in love with him and did not want any one else to hold him.

After 24 hours, we came home and now the real fun begins. If my grammer here is bad...hey this is being done with little to no sleep.
